Fir Grove Fire
Fir Grove Fire in South Polk County. Oregon Department of Forestry Western Oregon District is assisted by our fire department and other fire department partners, contractors, landowner and operator resources, as well as a Type II Helicopter.
Crews are working hard to get the fire completely lined and plumbed with hose. The area was experiencong a Red Flag Warning. Resources on-scene include multiple overhead and engines from the ODF West Oregon District, a 20-person hand crew of adults in custody, two dozers, a Type II helicopter, and multiple engines and tenders from local fire departments within Benton, Polk, Marion and Yamhill Counties.
