Life Saving Challenge Coins are awarded to our personnel for their involvement on an incident where there was a patient who's heart had stopped. In order to earn this award, the patient must be discharged from the hospital with minimal neurological defecits. To achieve this standard, it takes many people working as a team. A typical team that is successful in the feat is comprised of 8 - 10 first responders.
